The World would be a better place if...

Objective:
Students will be able to create a piece communicating their idea of The World Would Be a Better Place If…using a medium of their choice.

Process:
1. Create a list of ideas pertaining to The World Would Be a Better Place If…
*Think of people, places, things, or events that relate to this topic.
2. Choose your top 2 or 3 ideas and make at least 10 thumbnail drawings of each idea.  The thumbnail drawings should show what your composition should look like.
3. Choose your top idea.
4. Choose a medium that you think would best communicate your idea.
5. Get your paper. 12”x18”
6. Create a ½” border.
7. Demonstrate your idea.

Tips
*If you want to use words or letters, use them in the background as a texture.
*Try collaging ideas together using techniques learned in class.
*Experiment with your surface quality.
