The Bottle Cap Wolf Mural was created by Mr. Ager's students and participants in the Mural Club in hopes of showcasing our school's talent and pride. This 4' x 8' mural consists of over three years of work and contains over three thousand bottle caps. All of the bottle caps were recycled and graciously donated by Vista Ridge High School staff and students.
The style of the mural is derived from the Impressionist artist Georges Seurat. Seurat used a technique called pointillism to create his pieces. There are many different colored dots when looking at the work up close. Your eyes and brain "optically mix" the dots together when looking at the piece further away. The following link gives examples of his work: The Complete Works of George Seurat Thank you so much to the students and staff for your support in creating this. A special thank to Mr. Bruce Jilek and his crew in hanging and helping with this huge project!
