Scott Mutter Project
Objective: Students will be able to create an original piece by combining at least two of their images together to create a new composition in Photoshop. Ideas and concepts will be based on images created by Scott Mutter. Process: 1. Research images created by Scott Mutter. 2. Make a list of ideas for images to be combined. For example: take a photo of the hallway and a photo of railroad tracks, then combine them in Photoshop. 3. Take your photos. You will want to take multiple photos at various angles and points-of-view to make your image more believable. 4. Download images onto your computer and thumb drive. 5. Use Photoshop to manipulate and combine your images. 6. Change images to black and white. This will make it easier to manipulate your images. *It’s ok for your final image to look surreal, but the viewer should be able to tell what your images are. Requirements: 1. Original Images 2. Original Composition 3. Focus 4. Black and White 5. Craftsmanship of Photoshop (clean edges, etc.) |
