   Mark Jenkins Tape Sculpture
Objective:
Students will be able to create a tape sculpture using techniques used by Mark Jenkins. The concepts of street art and instillations will be applied during creation and installing of the sculptures.

Process:
1.     Students get in groups of 2 or 3.
2.     Research how and where Mark Jenkins creates his pieces.
3.     Discuss what sculpture to make and where to hang in the school. Your sculpture should take up an area roughly the size of a person 5’ 6” tall. You may make multiple sculptures.
*Keep in mind we cannot hang sculptures from the ceiling due to fire codes.
*Before creating the sculpture, experiment how it would hang or be placed in the building.
4. Begin Taping! Follow the instructions from the video and discussions in class.

1.     Concept (originality of idea)
2.     Composition (displayed in space)
3.    Craftsmanship (quality of construction)
4.     Process (group working together)
5.     Reflection
