Dictionary Illustration

Dictionary Illustration

Objective
Students will be able to create a pieces using original references, demonstrate light source through the use of light and shadow, and use an original composition.
 
Requirements
  1. Concept (Are you able to communicate your object?)
  2. Craftsmanship (Are you using light & shadow? How are you using the Principles of Design?)
  3. Composition (How are you using your space? Is your object right in the middle? Do you have any depth?)
  4. Process (documentation)
  5. Reflection (On Grading Form)
 
Process
  1. Get your dictionary pages.
  2. Choose a word from that page you would like to illustrate. If you can’t find a word on that page, choose an object you would like to illustrate.
  3. Find references for you word or object you would like to illustrate.
  4. Create illustrations on the dictionary page with the media of your choice.
  5. Take a photo and fill out the grading form.
