Ceramics III

Prerequisite: Completion of Ceramics II with a minimum grade of C

Course Numbers: 1st semester - AR1231 2nd semester - AR1232
Students in Ceramics III will build on techniques and skills learning Ceramics II. Students will continue building wheel-throwing skills. Projects will incorporate larger and more complex composition, with a wide variety of surface treatments. Students will use a pug mill and extruder, mix glazes and stains, and load/unload kilns. Students will build on their Ceramics II knowledge of how to design, make, and analyze art, with an ongoing focus on clay artists. HEAR
