drawing & 2D Design

Prerequisite: Pre-AP Studio Art (Formerly Art II)

Course Numbers: 1st semester - AR4901CT

AP Studio Art is a course based on the production of a portfolio (Drawing; 2-D Design; or 3-D Design).  The student will select the concentration portfolio they are creating from the three categories listed. This course is conducted in an independent study format, with assignments designed, supervised and guided by the instructor.  Students must complete an application for entry into this class.   ​

3D Design

Prerequisite: Completion of Ceramics I and II with a C or better

Course Numbers: 1st semester - AR4931  
​                                  2nd semester - AR4932 
This course is ceramics based, but other 3-D media can be incorporated into the ceramic pieces.  The goal is for students to be able to present a complete 3-D portfolio of 16-20 art pieces to the AP College Board at the end of the year.   This course is conducted in an independent study format, with assignments designed, supervised and guided by the instructor.
